Origami Owl Review and Giveaway

For years I have wanted a piece of jewelry to symbolize my children. I held off, however, not sure when our family would be complete. With the birth of my son in April, I knew that I could now consider finding that perfect piece. At first, I was thinking about a mother's ring-that is until I had the opportunity to review a locket from amazingcassie.origamiowl.com

At amazingcassie.origamiowl.com, you can create a locket that tells your story. To create a locket, you first start by choosing charms that represent things that are important to you. Next you choose your locket, which comes in gold, brushed gold, rose gold, and silver, as well as the size, either medium or large. After choosing your locket, you can choose a chain, plate, and dangles. As I read the story of Origami Owl, I was amazed to find out that the company was founded in 2010 by a 14-year old girl who wanted to save up enough money to buy a car for her 16th birthday. Today the company partners with thousands of women across the country who own their own Origami Owl business.

I was lucky enough to work with Cassie from Origami Owl to create my own locket. When it arrived in the mail I couldn't wait to open it. When I took it out of the packaging I was surprised to see a cute little take out box with a fortune cookie jewelry pouch. Inside that pouch was my locket. When working with Cassie, she asked me to pick out four charms and she would create the rest. My Living Locket is a medium size silver locket on a beautiful silver ball station chain. Inside the locket were the four charms I chose-three little boy charms that contain each of my sons' birthstones, as well as the silver infinity charm which has a two-fold meaning for me. First it represents the love for my husband, but it also stands for my love of math.

My locket was just perfect-exactly the piece of mother's jewelry that I have been looking for. I also love the idea that it is a locket, so I can order charms later on and add them to it. To top it off, the Living Lockets at Origami Owl are affordable. Each charm costs $5, while the lockets range from $20 to $38. If you choose to add on dangles and plates, they are very reasonable as well.

With my locket I chose to tell the story of my family. What type of story would your locket tell about you? If you are interested, stop by amazingcassie.origamiowl.com and have Cassie help you create that perfect locket. Below is her information, as well, in case you have any other questions.
