Shushybye Book and CD Review and Giveaway

Each night before my kids go to sleep, they love to read books. Of course after book time, the whole process of actually going to sleep can be a hassle. After just a few minutes, one of them usually comes out of their room and says "I can't fall asleep" or I need a drink, or I need to use the bathroom. So I was very excited to have the opportunity to review two Shushybye products: the book Shushybye Close Your Eyes and the Shushybye and Goodnight Deluxe Edition CD.

My kids were so excited when they saw the new book and CD. So at bedtime, we all cuddled up as I read Shushybye Close Your Eyes to my children. This was such a cute book to read. It is about two children Leo and Leona who stay awake past their bedtime. But because they do not go to sleep on time, they miss out on getting their Shushybye dreams from their Shushy named Snoozles. With help from the Shushybye King, Snoozles is able to bring Leo and Leona's family to visit Shushybye so they can learn how their dreams are made and how important it is to go to sleep on time.


My two sons loved the book-the pictures were colorful, the cover is glow in the dark, and it even comes with a audio CD if they wanted to read along. They also enjoy listening to the Shushybye and Goodnight Deluxe Edition CD in the car when we are traveling. At times, it gets me singing "Oh my, my; Shushybye!' The CD includes 16 different songs-some slow and some upbeat. My youngest son asks each night, "When am I going to get my Shushy dreams?"
