Party City Costume Review and Giveaway

My boys love to pretend and dress up. My youngest son in particular will pull out his Batman Costume from Halloween last year and run around the house with it. My oldest son loves his Harry Potter robe that his aunt bought him, and will wear it around even in the heat of the summer. When Halloween is over, they are already thinking about what they want to be for the following year. So they were ecstatic when I asked them to pick out a costume to review for Party City, and they knew exactly what they wanted to be.

It was really easy to browse their site for Kids Halloween Costumes and we immediately checked out the Boys Superhero Costumes since my youngest son wanted to be Captain America. He owns a few Avengers DVDs and Captain America is his favorite character. The toddler Boys Captain America Costume fit him perfectly. The costume comes with a red, white, and blue jumpsuit and a helmet. The jumpsuit is made to look like my son has muscles. We also received the Captain America Shield. My youngest son loves his new costume and the first day he wore it all day long. I think that he would wear it all of the time if I would let him. When I pretend that Captain America is in my house, he reassures me that it is only him.

My oldest son wanted to check out the Star Wars Costumes and immediately picked out Darth Vadar. He has been wanting to be Darth Vadar for a few years now, and I thought he was finally old enough to chose this costume. This costume comes with a printed jumpsuit, cape, belt, mask, and a breathing device to make you sound just like Darth Vadar (which happens to be my son's favorite part of the costume). He absolutely loves his costume as well and goes around the house breathing like Darth Vadar. Now he just needs the Darth Vadar Lightsaber to complete his outfit.

We also chose one more costume to review, the Boys Magician Costume. Last year, I took my oldest son to see a magician and ever since he loves to pretend that he can do magic tricks. This costume comes with a striped vest, a cape, and a top hat. The hat is adorable since there is a white bunny attached to the top, and we loved the cape that was decorated with flowers and playing cards. With an additional magic wand, he really looks like a magician now.

I was really impressed with Party City's selection of costumes-they have something for everyone in the family, and before we know it, Halloween will be here. And for my boys, any day is a good day to dress up and pretend.
