Batman: The Brave and the Bold Season Two Part One DVD {Review and Giveaway}

My two boys love watching about superheroes on TV, and my youngest likes to dress up as one all of the time. Last year he was Batman for Halloween, so he was very excited when Batman: The Brave and the Bold arrived in the mail. Both boys immediately wanted to watch the DVD. Here is the synopsis:

Batman wings into an exciting new era, teaming with a mighty honor roll of DC Comics Super Heroes in this action-packed series. Through the show's season two 12 Animated Adventures in this 2-Disc Collection, the Dark Knight allies with Aquaman, Plastic Man, Blue Beetle, Red Tornado, Green Arrow, Wildcat, Deadman, Bronze Tiger and Atom to take on an array of evildoers ranging from mad scientists to intergalactic crooks, from power-mad dictators to out-of-control teenagers.

My thoughts: My boys loved the DVD and it definitely kept them entertained. One of their favorite episodes is called "Death Race to Oblivion". In this episode, Mongul has kidnapped both heroes and villians to compete against his champion, Steppenwolf. If anyone defeats his champion, they will inherit the Earth. However, if they lose, they will be transported to a holding cell to await their execution. What captured my boys' interest the most is the great cast of characters in this episode. Not only does it have Batman, but it also has the Green Arrow, Plastic Man, Joker, Catwoman, and the Gentleman Ghost (to name a few). My oldest son loves the Joker and Gentleman Ghost, so he watched this episode twice in the same sitting. If your children love watching superheroes, be on the lookout for Batman: The Brave and the Bold Season Two Part One, which will be available on DVD August 16.
