Happy Feet Two Blu-Ray Combo Pack Review

If you loved watching the movie "Happy Feet", you will want to check out the sequel "Happy Feet Two," which will be available on Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD, and download on March 13. In the first movie we met Mumble, an Emperor Penguin, who does not fit in with his community since he can not sing, but can tap dance instead. By the end of the movie the community learns to accept him even though he is different.

In "Happy Feet Two," Mumble, The Master of Tap, has a problem. His tiny son, Erik, is choreo-phobic and lacks the talent of all the other penguins. Reluctant to dance, Erik runs away and encounters The Mighty Sven-a penguin who can fly! Mumble has no hope of competing with this charismatic new role model.

Things go from bad to worse for Mumble when the world is shaken by powerful forces. Erik learns of his father's guts and grit as Mumble brings together the penguin nations and all manner of fabulous creatures-from tiny Krills to giant Elephant Seals-to put things right.

My thoughts: I was excited to review "Happy Feet Two", especially since it has an all-star cast with Elijah Wood, Robin Williams, Hank Azaria, Alecia Moore, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, and Sofia Vergara. The penguins are adorable and I really enjoyed the side story of the Krills, voiced by Brad Pitt and Matt Damon. If you like movies with singing, you will find the music entertaining. An important message in the movie is that no matter how big or small you are-we can all make a difference-especially when we work together. Another part of the movie that I enjoyed is when Erik realizes that Sven, whom he looked up to, is not the real hero, but his father is instead.  I think about when kids are younger, they often look up to celebrities. But as we get older, we learn to look up to those closer to us. I enjoyed watching this movie with my boys, and if you are a fan of the original "Happy Feet", I think that you will also enjoy this sequel as well. Before you watch the movie, however, check out the free Happy Feet Two movie app for iPhone, iPad and Ipad Touch. The app synchs with the Blu-ray disc to provide enhanced content and interactive features: http://bit.ly/zUyBxF.

Disclosure: I received the Happy Feet Two Combo Pack to review. No other compensation was received. All opinions are my own and are my honest opinion of the product.
