The Perfect Nursery

As the date approaches for my nephew to be born, it makes me remininsce of the birth of my own two boys. Each pregnancy and birth, were both different and beautiful. At times, I miss being pregnant and awaiting the wonderful blessing provided by God.

One of the important things to have accomplished before our first son was born was furnishing the nursery. I can remember searching for that perfect crib and we decided on a convertible crib. Not only was it beautiful, but it was practical as well since it could turn into a toddler bed and then a full sized bed. Of course, knowing that we wanted to have a second child, we decided against turning our crib into a toddler bed for our oldest.

We had a large size room for our nursery, but if we didn't I may have considered looking for a crib with storage, such as the Orbelle Michelle 4-in-1 Convertible Wood Crib and Changer Set in Cherry. What I love about this crib is not only does it convert, but there is also a changing station that includes three drawers. So if you are looking to save space, this crib does it all.

After finding that perfect crib, some other pieces of furniture needed to create that dream nursery are a dresser, a rocking chair, a bookshelf, and maybe some hampers and baskets. We absolutely loved our rocking chair and it was perfect for helping our boys fall asleep. And while, we did not invest in baskets at the time, we now use them to help organize the boys toys. Not only are they cute, but functional as well.

All I know is that my sister is very crafty and she is a great designer, so I can't wait to see what my nephew's nursery looks like.
