Lavender Scented Space Bag Review and Giveaway

With a family of four, I feel like we are accumulating new items all the time. So I am always on the lookout for ways to organize. I have seen the commercials for Space Bag and often wondered how well the bags actually work. I was so excited when I was contacted to review their new Lavender Scented Space Bags.

Here is a little information about the Lavender Scented Bags from their website:

Spending a season in storage can leave bedding and other linens smelling of mothballs and dust. Thanks to Space Bag Lavender Scented Bags, your stored items can come out smelling fresh and clean. These airtight bags add a light, fresh lavender scent to stored items, without an overpowering smell.

Space Bag Lavender Scented Bags are easily packed and vacuum-sealed, making them perfect for comforters, pillows, blankets and other bulky items. Even after lengthy storage, the items inside a Space Bag Lavender Scented Bags will come out smelling as fresh as a field of wildflowers.

Available in two sizes, Space Bag Lavender Scented Bags are a convenient storage option for guest bedding and other linens:

  • Extra-Large – Holds up to one queen-size comforter and two standard-size pillows
  • Jumbo – Holds up to two comforters and four standard-size pillows

All Space Bag products are airtight, waterproof and reusable. They also protect against bugs, moths, dirt, mildew and odors.

I received one large regular Space Bag Storage Pack and one extra-large Lavender Scented Bag. The first thing that I thought I would use these bags for was bedding. I stuffed the extra-large Lavender Scented Bag with a comforter, pillowcases, and some bedding from when my two boys were babies. In the large Space Bag, I decided to store some of my boys' old clothes. I have so many storage bins for their clothes and they take up so much room.

My thoughts: The Space Bags are very easy to use. You just put your items in the bag, zip it close, and then vacuum out the air. It was neat to watch the bag shrink! I put both bags in our closet and noticed quite a difference in the amount of space they took up. I now have extra room in our closet to store things. And on top of it, I know that when I take out my comforter, it will come out smelling like lavender.
