Holiday Gift Guide: Think Geek Review

As the holidays approach, I have some great product reviews and giveaways for you. When I came across Think Geek, I fell in love with their website. You can buy t-shirts and apparel, geek toys, gadgets, home and office products, computer stuff, caffeine and edibles, electronics, books, and kids toys and gadgets. I was even more ecstatic when they offered to let me do a review. Deciding on what to review was quite difficult because have so many fabulous products. For example, check out this Kids Electronic Rock Guitar Shirt. You can actually play the guitar on this shirt!

I would love to try out quite a few of their gadgets, but finally I decided on two different clocks. The first clock I chose was the Teach Me Time! Clock. My two boys share a room and they always wanted their own alarm clock. This clock is absolutely perfect for them. A few things that I love about this clock are:
  • It has both analog and digital time displays
  • When you hit the right toe button it announces the time
  • Parents can program the clock so that during the night it glows yellow and when it is okay for the kids to get out of bed it turns green. This feature is great for my youngest, who would always come in to our room on the weekend and ask if he could get up. Now he just checks his clock. This clock is priced at $39.99.

The second clock I picked out was the Pop Quiz Math Clock. When I saw this clock, I knew that I had to have it for my classroom. The background of this clock looks like a chalkboard, and of course to tell what time it is you need to simplify the expression or solve the equation. When I put it up in my classroom, it was immediately noticed by my students-and they loved it! This clock is priced at $26.99.

The day after I received my products, I brought in the ThinkGeek catalog to work to show it off. I just think that they have the coolest selection of items to choose from. Looking for that unusual gift for Christmas? Definitely, check out ThinkGeek.

Disclosure: I received the two clocks from ThinkGeek to review. No other compensation was received. All opinions are my own and are my honest opinion of the products.
