Recently I came across the website Kidtoons. Kidtoons helps to bring family friendly movies to participating theaters across the country. Here is a little bit about Kidtoons from their website:
Kidtoons is dedicated to helping parents connect with their kids by bringing family friendly animated movies to the big screen every weekend at participating theatres across the country.
Participating Kidtoons theatres showcase a fun, affordable family friendly matinee movie and provide a family experience filled with entertaining, kid-friendly characters, as well as cartoon shorts, music videos and sing-alongs before each movie. We even have fun giveaways for the kids, such as stickers, temporary tattoos, activity books or toys after every film.
This month's feature movie is Spookley The Square Pumpkin. Spookley the Square Pumpkin is different than all of the other pumpkins in the patch. Despite being shunned by the others, Spookley saves the day when a storm threatens to destroy the whole patch. Spookley proves that being different can save the day. "It's fine to be round while the weather is fair, but there are times it's better to be a square!"
What a great movie to teach kids that being different is okay and that we should accept each other's differences!
Interested? If so, you can check out the Kidtoons website to see if there are any participating theaters in your area. You also have the opportunity to win a great Spookley prize pack here.
Win it: Kidtoons has offered to giveaway the following prize pack to one of my lucky readers.
- 1 Spookley Plush doll
- 1 Spookley DVD
- 4 Spookley Flashlights
- 10 Spookley coloring sheets
- 2 Spookley books

ReplyDeleteOne of our fall traditions is to go to the K-9 games with our dog. Our whole family volunteers that day, and our dog has a great time for a good cause. There are all kinds of dog groups doing fun things like agility, lure coursing, race the wind, etc. Everyone comes home tired but happy.
