Over the years, I have learned just a little about sewing. Buying pants for myself or my boys is not always easy. It seems that they are always too long and need to be shortened. Thanks to my mother, I have learned how to hem our pants. I have also learned how to sew patches onto my oldest son's Awana uniform. However, using a sewing machine is a whole other story.I have probably used a sewing machine twice in my life. I can remember sewing in home and careers, although I can not remember exactly what I made.
