A Short Blogging Break

To all of my faithful followers, I just wanted to write a note about why I have not posted in a week. These past two weeks have been filled with joy, sorrow, and sickness. Last week, both my sons and myself became sick. Of course, even today I am not yet 100% better.

Then this week, started out with anticipation and excitement as we awaited news of the arrival of my first niece. On Wednesday, she was born and she is beautiful. I can not wait to meet her. With more restrictions at the hospital, only grandparents can visit. I hope to be able to see her when my sister brings her home.

God gives and take away. While he provided us with a beautiful niece, that day he also took away my grandmother. She was always so strong, it took me by shock as I thought she would have lived to 100. She was a wonderful woman, always with so much energy and love. I loved her so much, and will miss her dearly. I have gone through many emotions this week, and I know for the most part I have been in denial. As the services approach, I know that I will have to face the reality. I have thought upon the wonderful memories I have of this wonderful woman.

Grandma, I love you and will miss you.

To all my readers, I love blogging and so I will be back to posting soon.
