The last day of The Challenge states: Reflect on the 21 days of The Gratitude Challenge and what this process has meant to you.
The whole Challenge was not easy. Of course, that's why it is called a challenge. The Challenge has encouraged me to look on the brighter side of life. I am often pessimistic and focus on all the challenges life has to offer. I enjoyed the Challenge because it helped me to focus on the many blessings that God has given me. It helped me to look at all the positives in my life, instead of focusing on the negatives. I have enjoyed reading all of the comments that my fellow readers have made. It encouraged me along the way to read your words and to realize how hard it was at times and that I was not the only one feeling that way.
I would encourage you each day to focus on the blessings that God has given you. I will end with a song that has been going through my mind all week long: Give thanks with a grateful heart, Give thanks for the Holy One, Give thanks because He's given Jesus Christ His Son. And now let the weak say "I am strong." Let the poor say "I am rich." Because of what the Lord has done for us. Give thanks.

ReplyDeleteThis will certainly be a challenge for me. I know in my head and heart that I have much to be grateful for. Andy yet I find myslef indulging regularly in bitter complaining and ickyness.
ReplyDeleteI need to post ALL of the gratitudes that you have posted, I want to put them down and keep reviewing when my heart isn't as....fighting I guess.
